Coach Spotlight: Megan Lambert

Meet Megan, our newest coach at Hobe Lake Ski Club! From skiing in college to working at ski schools over the past six years, Megan is excited to introduce people of all ages to the sport of waterskiing.

Megan Lambert

Hometown: Brownsburg, Indiana
Occupation: Waterski Coach, Strength and Conditioning Specialist

  1. When and where did you learn how to ski?

My dad taught me to ski when I was 5 years old on a public lake in Indiana. Growing up, we would drive an hour to the lake and set up a portable slalom course and then later we joined a ski club.

  1. What is your favorite waterski memory?

I have so many memories it’s hard to choose one. Skiing with my cousins and grandparents at Dale Hallow Lake, my dad and I qualifying for our first nationals the same year, and watching my parents run down the shoreline when I won nationals this year are definitely among the highlights.

  1. What do you love most about the sport?

Definitely the friendships! Some of my best friends are from working at ski schools and skiing on the Purdue Waterski Team.
