Emma has been a member of Hobe Lake Ski Club since 2018 and has consistently worked to improve her slalom skills. We wish her all the best as she heads to Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this fall to pursue a degree in Exercise Science in the Direct Entry Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. We can’t wait to ski with Emma when she returns to Florida during her school breaks!

This week we’re highlighting one of our outstanding members: Sharon Baker Brown!
Sharon’s hard work is paying off as she placed second in the Women’s 8 division in the Florida State Tournament and second in the Southern Regional Tournament in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. We want to send Sharon our best wishes as she heads to compete in the U.S. National Championships in Maize, Kansas August 7.
We had our last summer camp day on July 27 – Thank you to our volunteers and coaches who made this year’s youth summer camp series a success.
Hobe Lake is committed to promoting youth involvement in waterskiing and we’re excited to see new south Florida kids on the water. Some highlights of our summer camps were every new skier learning a deep water start, introducing kids to the slalom course… and lots of swimming and playing in the water.
